The Boston Massacre On the evening of March 5, 1770, drunken Colonists throw snowballs, and sticks, etc. at several British Soldiers. This Results in the Red Coats killing 5 Colonists and injuring several others
The Sugar Act The Sugar Act of April 5, 1764 was the first attempt from Britain to raise income from the Colonies. They passed this act in Parliament to try to get the Colonists to cut down on smuggling. So they placed a tax on imported goods such as sugar and molasses.
The Stamp Act The Stamp Act of March 22, 1765 was placed by Parliament on the colonists so they would have to spend money on stamps that were require to be on anything shipped
The Boston Tea Party In Boston on, December 16, 1773, members of the Sons of Liberty boarded a British ship and threw all of their tea into the water. This was intended as a protest against Parliament's tax on tea. "No taxation without representation!"
