Philip William Foden was born in Stockport, England on 28 May 2000
Foden's football career started when he was 8 years-old when he joined Manchester City Under 9's
Foden signed his Manchester City Academy scholarship in July 2016 where he joined the Under 18's team
Pep Guardiola named Phil Foden in the first team squad for the final Champions League group stage game against Celtic. He did not play.
Foden joined the England squad for the European U17 Championships, scoring in the final as the Young Lions suffered a penalty defeat at the hands of Spain.
