Somewhere from 18 years old-early 20'sPhysical Development
I decide to run a half marathon for the first time in my life
Now that I am in my early adulthood, I am in the peak
condition in my life and my body is functioning
at an optimal level.
After all, this is the peak period for physical development
and this was the best time to do so.Physical Development
Stress Accumulation
I have been working for half a year now and
I am going through a good amount of stress.
It is not surprising to go through a great deal
of stress especially right out of college. While
not all stress is bad, I am able to cope with this
stress with the help of seeking support and my
friends come to my support in times of struggle.Cognitive Development
College!
The transition to college is a change in my life like
never before. I am finally on my own and this changes the
way I perceive of the world. I am blown away with the
amount of different cultures and the more opportunities
present make me feel like an adult!
I am considering taking human development
Should I take it? What do you think?Cognitive Development
I decide to go back to college while I am working to
obtain my masters degree. I am wanting the best
education possible and with college graduates being
able to achieve more advanced levels, I do a
majority of online classes to work towards a
higher education degree. My brain is also functioning
at an optimal level at this time.I decide to work toward an
MBA degree.
This will out me in a better position down the
road.Socio-Emotional
In my dating life, I am somewhat beginning but it
hasn't been picking up recently. According to SHOSTAK
I am taking the leaf of what he describes as the
"ambivalents". I consider my status of being single
as temporary and I am open to marriage. However
I am not seeking marriage just yet.Socio-Emotional
I find a women of interest and we decide to
cohabitant. We live together but I feel like we
are more than just friends. I really find her very
compelling and she is an even better human being.
While we are a little older for the cohabitation
phase (25 years) we make it work and we keep
each other company.
Maybe it will work out, who knows?Socio-Emotional
I decide to marry at the age of 30!
Kids and a new life will be just around of the
corner.
Things are getting exciting!!Approximate end of early adulthood
Sometimes in the 30'sNON-Normative:
Normally height plateau at early adulthood, but
out of the blue, I grow 2 inches in the span of
just one year. I am already not the tallest fella
so the increase in height is a nice surprise. This
makes me happy.
