This was a terrible day in Camelot's history. Morando, General of the Arcadian Army, traitor to Camelot, conducted an assault on the Kingdom. A vast majority of Camelot was burned and destroyed, most of the damage being in the northwest where the palace sits. As many citizens as were evacuated through the harbor and into Killahead Forest, the rest were unfortunately killed or severely injured by the Arcadian Army.
Morando used his tanks to push through to the palace and open fire on it with Noatak and the King still inside. Noatak stayed for as long as Tarrlok let him, but was told to evacuate. Now, Morando's tank gets even closer to the palace, missile after missile, destroying King Tarrlok's ancestral home piece by piece and setting it ablaze.
King Tarrlok made it to the ground floor of the palace, at which point a fiery pillar fell down and made a gaping hole in the middle of the Great Hall.
When Morando's tank broke through the palace doors, this is where the final showdown took place. King Tarrlok was about to be killed by Morando, but he noticed that the tank was about to blow and made a run for it. Morando, in all his pride, was too slow to catch this and was caught in the explosion. When the tank exploded, the shockwave launched Morando into the hole created by the pillar and fell to the bottom. To his horror, the tank fell after him, hitting the bottom and crushing Morando, engulfing what is left of the palace in flames.

Outside in the courtyard, King Tarrlok gazes in horror as he sees his ancestral home burning. He sheds tears, and goes to reunite with the evacuated citizens.
