This battle was located in Charlestown, Boston, Massachusetts. The British defeated the Americans, but despite their loss, this loss actually boosted their confidence and drove them to fight harder. Although it’s commonly referred to as the Bunker Hill battle, the vast majority of the fighting took place nearby on Breed’s Hill.
