1 jan 1952 ano - Miller-Urey Expirement
Descrição:
The Miller-Urey experiment was conducted in 1952 by Stanley Miller and Harold Urey, testing Oparin's hypothesis by attempting to simulate early earth conditions. They simulated this environment using a system that combined methane, ammonia, hydrogen gases and water vapour. By heating the water and passing it through electricity that mimicked lightning, they created chemical reactions. After running the experiment for a week, they found amino acids, which are essential for life. This proved Oparin's hypothesis.
