At the verdict reading of the Lascombe trial, Lascombe turns into a Red Hulk, terrorizing the court room before being confronted by Jennifer Walters. Outside the court room, in the assembled Patriot crowd, Emil Blonksy, Benjamin Tibbets, Delilah Dearborn, Jamie Carlson, Nichole Martin, Rana Philips, Jess Harrison, Flint Marko, Morris Bench, Mark Raxton, Carl Creel, Maxwell Dillion, Pierre Fresson, and Paul Duval all undergo their own Gamma expressions and begin to terrorize and tear apart the city. The Avengers are initially overwhelmed but eventually, they are subdued by the coordinated efforts of every hero group in the country.

Those apprehended, including Lascombe, are imprisoned in the Raft.
