The Kente cloth was originally worn by the royal families used to identify those who held power and to validate their authority.
These garments are created through rigorous weaving work creating patterns that tell the status and story of the wearer. Colors, shapes, and size all play a part in describing the individual wearing the cloth.
It is very expensive and is to be worn only on special occasions.
