31 mar 1774 ano - Coercive (Intolerable) Acts
Descrição:
The Coercive Acts, also known as the Intolerable Acts, were a series of laws passed by the British Parliament in 1774 as punishment for the Boston Tea Party. These laws closed the port of Boston, restricted colonial government in Massachusetts, allowed British officials to be tried in Britain for crimes committed in the colonies, and expanded the Quartering Act, all of which further inflamed colonial resentment towards British rule.
