The Peace of Paris, signed in 1763, was the treaty that ended the Seven Years' War (also known as the French and Indian War in North America) between Britain, France, and Spain. It significantly redrew the map of North America, with France ceding its territories east of the Mississippi River to Britain, and Spain trading Florida to Britain for control of Havana, while receiving Louisiana from France.
