There are numerous software programmes to create timelines, but in the present case our preference is for a horizontal number timeline with a simple Excel-application (2).
Fig.1 shows that it took 400 years before the first repetitions appeared of the famous large painting ‘La Primavera’ or ‘Allegory of spring’ (202 x 314 cm) of Sandro BOTTICELLI (Firenze 1445-1510).
