FCH2RAIL H2 train completed tests in the Zaragoza - Teruel line

Testing of the bimode hydrogen train demonstrator on the Zaragoza - Teruel line has been succesfully completed last Friday, January 12 2024. This line is one of the most demanding lines due to its steep and long slopes, reaching an altitude of 1001 m above sea level in the Ferreruela station.

On this line the train covered 350 km in hybrid mode with one H2 refuelling - even in winter conditions with temperatures down to -3°C!
