1 jan 1789 ano - Economic Changes in a Developing Nation
Descrição:
In 1789, a young man named Samuel Slater immigrated to the United States. He was looking for an opportunity, however, unlike the native population, he was not looking forward to farming. Instead, he came and found a cotton-spinning mill with technology. This event marked the beginning of industrialization in this developing nation. Later on, other inventors in the United States developed new machines and by the 1830s, these helped improve agriculture by increasing productivity.
