In an interview with NBC affiliate KXAS in Dallas, One Direction attempts their first on-camera “denial” of gay rumors. Of course, nothing is actually denied; the closest we get is Louis stating in a practiced incredulous tone that “some people genuinely think” that he and Harry are an item. Liam’s off-screen response (“you are though”) speaks volumes, as does H&L acting particularly intimate throughout the interview.
