1 mar 1672 ano - John Locke (1632-1704)
Descrição:
An influential English philosopher and physician regarded as one of the most important figures in the history of Western philosophy. His idea of empiricism argued that knowledge is derived from experience. He rejected the notion of innate ideas, stating that mind is a blank slate at birth, and that knowledge is acquired through sensory experience and reflection which had a great impact on the moral development in humans in psychology. Similar to Descartes, Locke was motivated by moral concern and strived to establish the behavioural science of man (Leary,1980 ; Wolfe, 2018).
