Descrição:
According to Cynthia Breazeal, robots must be able to sense people's emotions and seem to have a personality if we are ever to be able to work with them, trust them, and welcome them into our homes. She began developing Kismet, a robotic head intended to elicit and respond to emotions, with this in mind. Kismet's expressive yellow eyebrows, red lips, pink ears, and large blue eyes were all controlled by twenty-one motors, which allowed her to convey a variety of emotions, from happiness to boredom.
