As published in this original Bitcointalk forum post, an artist by the name of 'weex' explained he created a set of 1/1 numeric assets minted using the Counterparty protocol to represent 12 separate physical artworks.

The artwork in these pieces used a graffiti stencil type style that included the Bitcoin logo. The digital image was published openly for download but the Counterparty asset associated and the physical that went with it were sold for $50 (plus shipping) per individual piece at the time.

None of these 12 assets could be considered 'first' or 'before the other' because they were all minted at the same time in the same BTC block.

This is one of the first instances in the world of 1/1 NFT art with physical tokens associated with it in a series and might be the first to do so with numeric Counterparty assets.
