Five men are caught and arrested in the Watergate Hotel at 2:30 a.m. They were caught with bugging devices and $2,300 in cash. One man said he used to work for the CIA in testimony. Frank Wills, a security guard at Watergate hotel noticed tape on the latches of the garage door and removed it, but when he came to check an hour later and saw the doors had been retaped, he called the police. A $25,000 check, intended for CRP, was later found in the bank account of one of the Watergate burglars.
