1 jan 1774 ano - Intolerable Acts
Descrição:
The Intolerable Acts were a series of legislation passed by Parliament in response to the Boston Tea Party. These acts included the Coercive Act which shut down Boston Harbor, The Quebec Act which established procedures of governance in Quebec, and new Quartering Acts. The colonists called these acts the Intolerable Acts and they saw them as attempts by the British government to strip them of their rights and privileges. The Intolerable Acts sparked outrage in the colonies and led to the convening of the first Continental Congress.
