Where the Son's of Liberty prevent the British East India Company form delivering to Boston. This was a result of the Tea Act of May 1773. This taxed tea 3 pence a pound, helping the business, East India Company, that was an instrument in British imperialism. Royal Governor Hutchinson was determined to land the tea and collect the tax. The Son's of Liberty broke and threw out around a million dollars in today's money of tea. This leads to British retaliation: the Coercive Acts.
