Felicia Hardy tells her mother that she's going to college; instead she begins travelling the world with Charles Marrow learning to become a thief. She joins his crew as an apprentice, alongside Tamara Blake. Despite Felicia's skills in other areas, her youth and beauty results in her being used as a honeypot in several schemes. The other members of Marrow's crew, gymnast Rachel Leighton and martial arts and weapons master Maximillian Zaran, train her on the side. She is joined in these studies by another young woman, Tamara Blake, another apprentice.
