The United Nation is an international organization whose goal is to maintain peace and security. They develop friendly relations with other nations and promote human rights, better living conditions, and social progress. On July 28, 1945, the Senate approved the UN Charter by a vote of 89 to 2. Then on October 24, 1945, the United Nations was founded. 29 nations had ratified the Charter.
