AM: The Pacific Electric Railway, known as the "Red Car" system, enhances transportation and suburban growth in the San Fernando Valley. The 19-mile street car line stretched from Los Angeles along Chandler Boulevard from what is now North Hollywood. The line traveled from Van Nuys Boulevard to Sherman Way then added transition to Reseda and Canoga Park.
