Spanish explorers attempt to claim Florida for the Spanish crown. At the time there were native folks who had occupied this land before Europeans. Ponce de León was the first Latin, if not man to ever go onto this potentially colonized land. The natives attacked, marking the retreat to Cuba earlier than planned. All for a fountain that supposedly granted youth.
