It was a representative assembly that was made to make an Independence Declaration and solve some other stuff. It sessions took part in the city of San Miguel de Tucumán, capital city of the Province of Tucumán, in a building known as "Casa de Tucumán" or "Casa Histórica" (House of Tucumán, Historical House)
