Neil Armstrong landed on Moon as radio said, “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.” Stepping off the lunar landing module Eagle, Armstrong became the first human to walk on the surface of the moon. During the Cold War, the Soviet Union and the United States competed with each other on technology progress. The Soviet Union seemed to have the upper hand in the space race. Neil Armstrong didn’t necessary change the competition, but it’s definitely the pride of American.
