The Bay of Pigs was a plan to rm out. The plan was to remove Castro from power in Cuba. The CIA would train Cubans in America to invade Cuba and take him out. The invasion was a failure and the whole force was either killed or captured. This was a major embarrassment for the Kennedy administration.
