this treaty ended the war with Spain finally this was signed by Philip IV and Charles I to agree on peace for the time this negativity effected England and Charles more as it made help look as if Charles I, by identifying his neutral European policy with pro-Spanish policies and with Spain at this time being catholic this did not look good for Charles in his position
