One of Skenandoah's worst traits was his friendliness. Skenandoah worked hard to make sure he established relationships with the people in his life. This often would not work for him, he would be used, played and often made fun of by the people he chose as friends, including the colonists. After the war, we took their land and used it for our own purposes even though the colonists said they wouldn't do so if he worked with us.
