This is one of Fra Angelico's most famous works.This altarpiece was unique because of the setting; Madonna and the saints were not necessarily depicted in a heavenly place. This was considered a Sacred Conversation.The altarpiece depicts Virgin and Child with Angels and Saints. The following images were several frescoes Fra Angelico created for St. Marco in Florence.
