With the annexation of the Vrariš Diarchy by the Kingdom of Daerẋaňev, the Kingdom of Boura (which was struggling with the rise of democratic reform and the fall of its monarchy) and the Haren Republic decided to join together and form the Haren-Bour Confederacy. The two natiosn desired to create a strong counter to the growing power of Daerẋaňev due to their king's dream of reestablishing the Empire of Krilkot.
