The economic and financial crisis severely weakened the Sassanid rule, thus the nobles, the clergies, the generals, are all seeking their power, which then led to the Khorasan Rebellion of 770, and marked the started of the Second Intermediate Period of Persia. After the Khorasan, the Chorasmia, Seyansih and Gurgan are revolted follow.
