When, Australia became a nation on 1 January 1901. Formed by different 6 British colonies New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia and Tasmania united to form the Commonwealth of Australia. This was the start of worse discrimination to the Aboriginal people with the white Australia policy coming into act. This was only the start of the discrimination and the Aboriginals would have to do something to stop this.
