Cause: Harold Thomas feeling sorry for FNP
The cause of the creation of the FNP national flags was because it was a milestone for their culture. The flag was created by Harold Thomas and was made official on the 14th of July 1995.
Peoples effected: FNP, Government
This was an emotional and happy time for the FNPs because they had always loved their land and now it was a major milestone for them and their culture imbedding themselves in the existence of our land. They were happy because it was a thoughtful thing to finally get accepted after years and they didn't think that the white Australian's flag was theirs because they were a different culture.
Perspectives
FNP: The FNP were very happy because the White Australians weren't part of their culture and they didn't think that Australia's flag was the flag that they should have. It was a big milestone for them. Harold Thomas felt that they needed their own flags so he created one. He felt happy and they they were thankful for the flags.
