Most of Russia had lost faith in the Czar rule, especially after the great loss in World War I. On this day, riots and strikes begin to rise due to food shortages. Czar Nicholas II gives the order to stop the riots and the military ends up killing demonstrators. In the end of the February Revolution, Czar Nicholas abdicates his thrown giving way for the Provisional Government to form, led by Alexander Kerensky, to take the ropes until Lenin steps in.
