A meeting with FDR, Churchill, and Stalin that dealt with the issues of post war Germany, Soviet occupied Berlin, and divided Korea into the North and the South. North Korea became a satellite of the Soviet Union and a communist nation, while South Korea was run by the Allies and received small amounts of aid from the United States. The physical division of Korea was at the 38th Parallel of latitude.
