Christmas and New Year

The whole family goes to Northumberland, to Riley’s parents’ house (Kathleen and Hector) for the holidays. Riley and Benjamin fighting, and Hector has to remove Benjamin from his house a couple of days before New Year. Riley cradles Sam as she cries herself to sleep.

27th March, 1997 – Benjamin returns this time and he and Riley promise to make a proper go at it; attending couple’s counselling.
