→ On the 23rd July, Austria decided to present Serbia with an ultimatum and to declare war if it was rejected. The ultimatum required Serbia to conduct a series of anti-terrorist measures under Austrian supervision, effectively giving Austria control of Serbia’s security forces and enabling it to intervene in Serbian internal affairs.
