25 nov 1936 ano - Anti-Comintern Pact Signed

Descrição:

The Anti-Comintern Pact was an alliance between Germany and Japan (and eventually Italy in 1937), that was against international communism but really aimed towards the Soviet Union. The treaty was originally proposed by Hitler who had been watching Japan's success in China, and it dictated that communism was a threat to world peace and that neither party would sign an agreement with the Soviet Union without the other party being informed. It was valid for five years until Germany ended up signing an agreement with the USSR without Japan's knowledge. This alliance between Germany and Japan signaled that Japan was more of a threat than the Allied powers had thought.
