Trotsky worked with Lenin and his Bolsheviks to further the Russian Revolution but when Vladimir Lenin died it was Trotsky versus Stalin for control over power in Russia. Trotsky led the Red Army against the White Army, Proletariat versus Bourgeoisie. In the end Trotsky loses the scramble for power to Joseph Stalin. He is exiled and ripped from any titled positions, by Stalin. On this day, Leon Trotsky is officially exiled from Russia by Joseph Stalin.
