Robin Shulman ACLU to Eric George, Amber Heard:
I think what you're referring to is just that slight change to wording of our previous language that has been in the piece all along - from 'my own lawyer' to ‘one of my own lawyers,' but if you feel it’s problematic, we can reword. We'd have to change those sentences to, 'My own friends and advisors told me I would never work again as an actress,I'd be blacklisted.'
Sound good to you, Amber? Is that what you want, Eric?

Eric George to Robin Shulman:
Yes, since the word 'lawyer' can't be included without possibly waiving privilege.

Jessica Weitz, Robin Shulman, and Sean Walsh cc Eric George:
Fantastic! Robin or I will get you the cleanest copy of this. We just heard from the Washington Post that this will be in the paper tomorrow. I will send through suggested share language under separate cover with Amber, Sara, and Jodi.

Robin Shulman ACLU to Amber Heard:
Here it is final.

Chris Hanna, Washington Post to Stacy Sullivan, ACLU:
Re: Edited version of Ms. Heard's Washington Post op-ed
Good afternoon.
Below is an edited version of Amber Heard's Washington Post op-ed on women and abuse. Please review the text carefully, as it is our last chance to make changes before publication. If you have any questions or concerns, please hit reply-all to this email so our copy chief will see the message as well. I do have a quick question highlighted in the text below. Thanks so much, and have a great evening.

Stacy Sullivan ACLU to Jessica Weitz ACLU & Robin Shulman ACLU:

I can't go back to them with this question right now and Amber is at the hospital with her sister.

Stacy Sullivan ACLU to Jessica Weitz ACLU & Robin Shulman ACLU:
Ok. so shall we just say don't change it and run as is?

Robin Shulman ACLU to Stacy Sullivan ACLU:
I agree with their change. Go for it!

Jessica Weitz ACLU to Amber Heard & Robin Shulman ACLU:
This was worth all the orchestrations. Robin - Thank you for birthing this, and, Amber, thank you for letting the world in.
