The Russian Revolution started with the bloody Sunday on January 22nd 1905. It lasted until the Revolutions in 1917. The peasants were the main revolutionaries; their riots and protests became more frequent. As the riots spread more and more people from different classes were joining them, the liberal group zemstvos became more present as well. The main cause of the revolution was abolish the new elected assembly that watched over the government.
