Czar Nicholas II visited Japan and got stopped on a road and a samurai cut a chunk of his head off. Later when he got back to Russia, he had a grudge against Japan so he launched an attack.This was not just because of his grudge but also a fight over water trade routes and Korea. Japan later defeated Russia which weakened the faith that people have in Nicholas and their country.
