He was the last Tsar of Russia and the end of the Romanov family line. In 1914, he ordered a partial mobilization against Austria-Hungary, which contributed to outbreak of WW1. He also attacked Japan which hit Russia pretty hard. He was the leader who showed that Russia was weak ad could be easily tossed aside. These losses created dissent among his people. They would perform strikes and protests against him, and eventually it caught up to him. He was executed in 1918 along with the rest of his family, by order of Vladimir Lenin.
