He was a mystical advisor in the court of Czar Nicholas ll of Russia, he was introduced when their son was sick with hemophilia and Rasputin cured him and gained their trust. When he died, Rasputin was invited to a palace by conspirators and fed cake and wine laced with cyanide, which had little effect, so they shot him multiple times and that still did not work. They decided to wrap him in a carpet and throw him in the Neva river. He drowned because he too drunk to swim.
