In 1821 the people of Greece began to fight against the Ottoman empire. They wanted to end their rule under the Ottomans. They also demanded for equal rights in liberty.They began by starting wars and after failing to gain allies they fought them off themselves and reached their independence in 1830 and took on power by the German king.
