In the 1840's, King Philippe
led France for the worse. The National Assembly wanted to keep things peaceful and restore order so they created a second republic. This second republic had a strong president and a one house legislative government. The people's major demands were dealt with with the phrase "all adult men have the right to vote". L. Napoleon was the president and declared himself emperor at 1852.
