Ms. Bennison was my third-grade teacher. It was her first year of teaching, and she was stressed out a lot of the time. I specifically remember her always saying either “I am going to rip my hair out!” or “All of my hair is going to turn gray this year!” However, she put in so much effort to make her classroom feel like a welcoming, comfortable place. My mom started volunteering in the school and classroom a lot that year, so I feel like Ms. Bennison did favor me a lot of the time. My dad also became president of the Booster Club, my mom coached my volleyball team, and my grandparents (mama and papa) were at every game. I felt extremely supported and was very happy, and LOVED school.
