The plot followed a crew aboard a spacecraft whose ship’s computer ‘Hal 9000’ takes control of the mission, prioritising the success of the task over the lives of the crew. Once again, the idea of total control at the hands of an AI is explored in depth forcing the general audience for electronics to question the future of technology and its boundaries.
