To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the passing of the 19th Amendment, 50,000 women gathered in New York City. This happened during an increase in feminism in the United States. The strike was done with many issues in mind, including abortion rights and free childcare. Ultimately, the protests helped the world bring a charitable cause to feminism.
